Make your way from Tokyo to the magical world of Ghibli Park with this convenient self-guided visit package.

This plan includes a Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium, round-trip non-reserved Shinkansen tickets from Tokyo to Nagoya, and shared bus transportation from Nagoya Station to Ghibli Park.

Ghibli Park is located inside Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park near Nagoya. With the Premium pass, you can visit all five areas of the park and access selected buildings inspired by Studio Ghibli films, including Howl’s Castle, Satsuki and Mei’s House, The House of Witches, Okino Residence, and World Emporium.

Please note, this is an unguided plan. No guide or tour conductor is included. You will be travelling independently using the provided tickets and itinerary.

Departure and Return Information
There is no guide or group meeting point for this activity. This is a self-guided package. You must pick up your tickets and final itinerary before the travel date, then travel independently from Tokyo to Ghibli Park in Aichi.

Pickup is available from 3 days before the tour date until the day before departure. Pickup is not available on the day of travel. Please collect your tickets during Tokyo City i opening hours.

Suggested Travel Schedule:

6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Make your way to Tokyo Station, Shinagawa Station, or Shin-Yokohama Station.

7:15 AM or earlier
Board an ordinary-car non-reserved Shinkansen to Nagoya. Taking a Shinkansen departing Tokyo Station at 7:15 AM or earlier is recommended to arrive in time for Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse.

Travel time from Tokyo to Nagoya is approximately 100 minutes.

After arriving at Nagoya Station
Walk to Meitetsu Bus Center.

By 9:30 AM at the latest
Board the shared bus to Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park / Ghibli Park. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes.

10:00 AM - 10:59 AM
Enter Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse during the assigned entry window. Late entry may not be accepted. Please bring your voucher/ticket documents and passport.

During the day:
Enjoy Ghibli Park independently with your O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium. The pass includes all five areas: Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, Mononoke Village, and Valley of Witches.

Return to Nagoya:
Board the shared bus from Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park Bus Stop No. 3 back to Meitetsu Bus Center / Nagoya Station.

The last return bus departs at 5:30 PM. The last bus can be crowded, so please arrive at the bus stop early.

Return to Tokyo
From Nagoya Station, board the ordinary-car, non-reserved Shinkansen back to Tokyo, Shinagawa, or Shin-Yokohama Station.

Important:
The times above are recommended based on the supplier itinerary. Shinkansen seats and shared bus seats are non-reserved. Please allow extra time for station transfers, queues, traffic, and possible full buses.
  • This is a self-guided package that includes ticket pickup in Tokyo, independent Shinkansen travel, shared bus transportation from Nagoya, and entry to Ghibli Park. Ghibli Park can be entered by wheelchair in many areas, but some locations and buildings may not be fully accessible. Guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids should contact us before booking so we can review the latest supplier and transport conditions.
  • Please note, although Ghibli Park has wheelchair-accessible facilities, this package includes independent travel by Shinkansen and a shared bus transfer. The shared bus has no advance seat reservation, and customers may need to queue or wait for the next bus if it is full.
  • This is a self-guided activity. No guide or tour conductor is included.
  • This product is for international visitors. Bookings for groups composed entirely of Japanese citizens cannot be made.
  • Children aged 4–5 include only the Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium admission ticket. Shinkansen and shared bus rules for young children vary depending on the number of children traveling with each paying passenger. Additional transportation tickets may need to be purchased locally.
  • Please book using your name exactly as written on your passport.
  • Please bring your passport and the voucher/ticket documents sent in advance. Passport checks may be required at Ghibli Park.
  • Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse has a fixed entry time of 10:00–10:59. Late entry may not be accepted.
  • All group members must be present when entering Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse.
  • The Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium allows entry to all five areas: Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, Mononoke Village, and Valley of Witches.
  • The Premium pass also includes access to World Emporium, Satsuki and Mei’s House, The Okino Residence, Howl’s Castle, and The House of Witches.
  • Only Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse has a designated entry time. Other areas may be entered at your preferred time, but queues or entry restrictions may apply during busy periods.
  • Wristband pickup must be completed by 12:00 PM on the visit date.
  • Please enter each area with your group by 16:30.
  • Re-entry is possible for most areas except Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse.
  • Some facilities, rides, play equipment, cafés, restaurants, or shops may require additional payment.
  • Some facilities are limited to children aged 12 and under.
  • Meals are not included.
  • Large luggage is not recommended. Coin lockers are available inside Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park, but numbers are limited.
  • Oversized baggage with total dimensions over 160 cm cannot be brought onto non-reserved cars of the Tokaido Shinkansen.
  • Shinkansen tickets are ordinary-car non-reserved tickets. Reserved seats and Green Car upgrades are not included and cannot be changed at the pickup location.
  • The shared bus between Nagoya Station and Ghibli Park does not have advance seat reservations. Please line up to board.
  • Standing passengers are not allowed on the shared bus. If the bus is full, you may need to wait for the next service.
  • No refund is provided if you do not use the included Shinkansen or shared bus tickets.
  • The last shared bus from Ghibli Park to Nagoya departs at 17:30 and may be crowded.
  • The schedule and travel times are estimates and may change due to traffic, congestion, weather, or operational conditions.
  • The tour may be cancelled if Ghibli Park closes due to weather, typhoon, or other operational reasons.
