Explore three engaging sections of the museum that trace chocolate’s evolution: from the sacred cacao tree in Mayan and Aztec traditions to its arrival in Europe, where it became a prized indulgence among the elite. You'll discover how chocolate transformed from a bitter ceremonial drink into the sweet treat we know today.
View a rare collection of over 1,000 historic objects, including antique chocolate cups, molds, and vintage packaging. Learn how chocolate is made from bean to bar and get an inside look at how production methods have changed over the centuries.
Chocolate tasting is included! Try a wide variety of dark, milk, and white chocolates from around the world—featuring different cocoa percentages and origins like Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Venezuela.

Important! This is not a guided tour, therefore there's no meeting point. You will need to head to the attraction at the provided address and enter with your tickets.
Know Before You Go
- Confirmation will be received right after booking via e-mail.
- Please provide a valid email address and phone number for receiving tour entry tickets via email and other messaging apps.
- Choco-Story Paris is open every day from 10am till 6pm (last admission 5pm).
- Closed annually on 1 January and 25 December.
- Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult (who must also purchase a ticket for the workshop).
- Wheelchair and pram/stoller accessible.
- For children, a fun educational booklet featuring two activities is available: a treasure hunt using PLAYMOBIL® displays and a quiz to learn more about the history of chocolate. After completing the hunt by placing stickers in the right spots, kids receive a sweet reward for their efforts!
