Accessibility
- Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp at the monument’s entrance provides wheelchair access to the ground floor, while an elevator to the upper chapel can comfortably accommodate two visitors in wheelchairs at the same time.
- Wheelchairs can be provided on loan by the monument staff
- Strollers are allowed within the monument, however, the stoller must be small and collapsible to fit into the X-ray machines at the security check.
- Dogs are not allowed, except for guide dogs assisting visually impaired visitors.

Following visitor categories are entitled to free access (No ticket booking required):
- Visitors Under the age of 18 years old
- 18-25 years old (European Union nationals)
- Disabled visitors with 1 companion, upon presentation of valid proof (Mobility and Inclusion card for French visitors), or a certificate from the organization (groups).
- Heightened security measures are in effect at the monument entrance. Arrive promptly for your reserved slot and be prepared for possible queues of up to 30 minutes on busy days.
- The monument is annually closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25.
- Prohibited Items: The monument does not allow flags, banners, selfie sticks, tripods, scooters, rollerblades, sharp objects, glass bottles, or weapons inside.
- For everyone’s safety, the following are not permitted: motorcycle helmets, aerosol cans, knives or other sharp tools (including scissors), glass bottles, oversized bags, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblades. Any confiscated items taken at the entrance will not be returned.
