Important! This is not a guided tour, therefore there's no meeting point. You will need to head to the attraction at the provided address and enter with your tickets.
Accessibility
- To access the Paris Catacombs, you will need to descend 130 steps and later ascend 112 steps to exit. This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or individuals with limited mobility.
- The Catacombs are located over 20 meters (65 feet) underground, and the passages can be narrow. Due to these conditions, this tour is not recommended for those with reduced mobility, physical disabilities, heart or respiratory conditions, or claustrophobia.
Know Before You Go
- Confirmation will be received right after booking via e-mail.
- Please provide a valid email address and phone number for receiving tour entry tickets via email and other messaging apps.
- The pathways in the Catacombs can be slippery, and the temperature remains at approximately 14°C (57°F) year-round, including summer. It is recommended that visitors wear sturdy shoes and bring warm clothing.
- Please note that your Catacombs ticket is valid only for the specific date and time of your scheduled tour. For late customers access can not be guaranteed after their entrance time.
- Touching the remains is strictly prohibited for all visitors, including those who are visually impaired.
- The use of camera tripods is not allowed.
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Large bags and suitcases are not allowed in the Catacombs. Only bags smaller than 40x30 cm are permitted, and they must be carried in front of you or in your hand. Please note that there are no cloakroom facilities, and luggage cannot be stored at the museum.
