Departure and Return Information

Important! This is not a guided tour, therefore there's no meeting point. You will need to head to the attraction at the provided address and enter with your tickets.

  • Strollers are permitted within the museum. However, if your stroller is too large to fit in the museum elevators, you can borrow a loaned stroller at the Help Desk located beneath the Pyramid. Please note that only front-facing baby carriers are allowed within the museum.
  • The museum offers complimentary wheelchairs, folding chairs, and canes with rubber tips to visitors in need. Simply present a valid ID at the Help Desk located beneath the Pyramid to borrow the necessary equipment.
  • Visitors with disabilities and their companions are granted priority entry at the museum's reception area and entrances without queuing.
  • For safety reasons canes with metal tips are not permitted within the museum.
  • Borrowed equipment must remain on museum premises.
  • Confirmation will be received right after booking via e-mail.
  • Despite having prepaid access, you may still encounter wait times at security checks, the wait times may be longer depending on the season.
  • Once your booking is finalized, changes to the tour date or time cannot be guaranteed.
  • Louvre Museum is closed every Tuesday.
  • The main entrance to the Louvre Museum is through the large glass pyramid in the middle which is accessible after passing through either the Carousel or Porte des Lions entrances.
  • Wheelchair access is available. A central elevator ensures access to rest of the museum.
  • Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals assisting guests with disabilities.
  • Lockers are available beneath the Pyramid to leave your personal belongings in a secured place. Items placed in the lockers must be removed the same day. Visitors are responsible for any valuables left in the lockers.
  • Large bags and suitcases are not permitted within the museum. Items exceeding 55 x 35 x 20 cm will not be allowed in the museum's main areas.
Cancellation and Refund
  • Customers can receive a full refund, if the cancellation is initiated 24 hours before the booked starting time of the activity.
  • The time of sending the email will be considered as the time of cancellation.
